WWE 2K26 Patch 1.07: Huge Changes Coming to Universe Mode and Draft and not only

The wait is finally over. After the incredibly light 1.06 maintenance update, 2K has finally dropped the massive patch the community has been begging for. WWE 2K26 Patch 1.07 is officially live, bringing crucial gameplay tweaks, massive Universe Mode overhauls, and some much-needed fixes to the in-game Draft system.

Before you boot up your save file, here is a breakdown of the biggest changes you need to know about.

Major Gameplay & Stamina Tweaks

If you were getting frustrated by your superstar getting "Winded" in the first two minutes of a match, this update is for you. 2K has adjusted stamina costs to increase much more gradually over the duration of a bout. Even better, reversals now cost less stamina when you are fighting more than one opponent—an absolute game-changer for Fatal 4-Ways and Handicap matches.

The update also snuck in some new animations, including Chelsea Green's Cradle Flatliner and a new crowd/wake-up taunt for Solo Sikoa, alongside improved AI that actually attempts reversals after transitioning from front to rear.

Universe Mode Gets Saved

Universe Mode players, rejoice. This patch didn't just fix bugs; it added completely new options to give you more control over your booking:

• New "Wear and Tear" Option: You can now allow superstars to remain damaged if you book them multiple times on the same show.
• Rivalry Breaks & PLE Priorities: A new option allows you to control whether rivalry matches or #1 contender matches get priority at Premium Live Events.
• Game-Breaking Bugs Squashed: The game will no longer announce the wrong winner after a Royal Rumble or Gauntlet match. They also fixed the issue where vacant custom championships were being randomly removed from shows, and the MITB cash-in prompt will no longer stay stuck on your screen after triggering.

In-Game Draft Fixes

For those using the in-game draft feature, Patch 1.07 addressed several massive headaches. The developers fixed the bug causing Legends to completely vanish from the draft pool, stopped drafts from completing prematurely, and fixed the logic so rivalries actually clear when superstars are drafted to opposing brands. You can also finally view previous draft results directly from the select screen.
